The unsealed trails at Little Para, South Para, Myponga, Hope Valley, Happy Valley, Warren and Bundaleer reservoir reserves are suitable for family-friendly riding, with more adventure to be found at Warren Reservoir Reserve.

Bundaleer

Bundaleer has three loop trails to explore. The 7km Boundary Loop and the 4.5km Reservoir Loop both take you past the dam wall, while the 6km Woods Loop leads you along the northern shoreline and into the woodlands. The unsealed paths are suitable for beginner mountain bikers of all ages.

Happy Valley

Happy Valley boasts nearly 30 kilometres of trails, all of which are suitable for mountain bikes. Beginners can explore shorter loop trails, while experienced mountain bikers can do a loop around the reservoir. You can also go on a 9 kilometre geocaching adventure where you’ll need to find the route yourself.

Paths are shared with pedestrians, so please be considerate of other trail users.

Two unsealed trails provide great bushwalking experience with water views. The 5.5km Western Loop and the 9km Eastern Loop are graded as intermediate mountain bike trails. The Eastern Loop is suitable for beginners, while the Western Loop requires a moderate level of skill and fitness.

Hope Valley

Linking into the O-Bahn Bikeway, Hope Valley’s 4.6km of unsealed trails loop around the reservoir reserve, cross the dam wall and weave through native vegetation. You can also combine your ride with a workout at the outdoor exercise equipment. The paths are shared by both cyclists and walkers. Please be considerate of other trail users and beware of operational traffic.

Little Para

Little Para offers cyclists a great side-track for adventure, with more than three kilometres of both easy and intermediate skill level shared trails to explore. Families looking for a picturesque spot to cycle together will also enjoy the trails and opportunities to stop and discover the local birds and wildlife.

Cycling at Myponga

Myponga

Myponga’s unsealed 10.5km trail network caters to mountain bikers of all skill levels.

The 3.3km loop on the south-eastern side of the reserve is suitable for beginners and takes you across open plains, through forested areas and native vegetation.

The 3km western loop provides a more adventurous ride for thrill seekers looking for a few downhill sections.

South Para

With a range of tracks on offer covering nearly 10km, you can explore on two wheels through a changing landscape of native bushland and plantation forests to reach stunning water views. The intermediate mountain bike trails are suitable for riders with a moderate level of skill and fitness.
