Trade waste subscription fee
A quarterly trade waste subscription fee (site risk rating dependant) will apply with the first quarterly charge being applied at 1 October 2023 (GST incl.).

Trade waste non-compliance fees
For customers who have failed to service their pre-treatment devices as instructed by SA Water. SA Water's primary means of evidence for the servicing of your pre-treatment device is the scanning of your QR2ID tag. These fees apply if you fail to scan your tag even if the physical service has been completed. These charges are not subject to GST.

Trade waste volume and load based charges
Charges apply to customers when trade waste discharges exceed 10 tonnes of biochemical oxygen demand or suspended solids, or 20 tonnes of total dissolved solids or a volume of 10,000 kL per year. These charges are not subject to GST.

Cost reflective volume and load based charges
Trade waste volume and load-based charges apply to the maximum concentrations and volumes specified in a customer’s authorisation. Any discharges above limits are deemed non-compliant and may incur the full long run marginal cost recovery of accepting and disposing of the non-compliant portion from the customer, or for significant non-compliance, the cost reflective charge may apply to your entire trade waste discharge. These charges are not subject to GST.
