Subdividing
Subdividing
Subdividing your property can be a complex process, and we are just one organisation you will need to talk to about approval. We strongly recommend you work with a licensed surveyor or conveyancer to help you manage the process.
They will help you:
- determine your requirements
- draft your plans
- lodge applications and necessary paperwork on your behalf and monitor their progress.
Generally, your surveyor will liaise directly with us. They will make sure the correct information and applications are submitted.
The SA Government website also offers a helpful guide on subdividing your property.
Demolishing
If you have a water or sewerage connection and are in the process of demolishing and rebuilding, you may request a temporary water meter removal for the period of 60 calendar days. You can do this through the Connection Application form by completing the disconnection section.
